Place Standard Tool for Youth

Project Activities:

  1. Tool Adaptation: Adapting the existing Place Standard Tool to fit the Youth Work sector and the national contexts of participating countries
  2. Piloting and Testing: Engaging young people in the testing and refinement of the adapted tool through local youth organizations, and gathering their feedback.
  3. Training and Qualification: Providing training opportunities for youth workers and other professionals to effectively use the PST4Youth tool.
  4. Networking and Peer Review: Facilitating exchange of knowledge and experience between youth work partners and public health experts.
  5. International Training: Implementation of an international training course for youth workers to get better knowlegde in health and community issues
  6. Dissemination and Communication: Creating a Communication, Dissemination, and Exploitation strategy (CDE-Start) and make them accessible to public through events and media.
  7. Scientific Evaluation: Rigorous scientific evaluation is conducted by a core team of experts.
  8. Local Actions: Implementing local actions that are of interest to the team of youngsters after evaluating the current environment.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Seven adapted and tested versions of the Place Standard Tool for Youth (PST4Youth), tailored to different national contexts.
  • Educational materials and handbooks to support the effective use of the PST4Youth tool.
  • Increased capacity and expertise among youth workers and public health professionals.
  • Increased youth participation in community development and decision-making processes.
  • Increased knowledge on using the Place Standard Tool in real Life
